Это скрины админки с minishop2. Как-то не очень похоже на ваши схемы по админке. Зачем тогда MODX?. Я раньше работал с MODX и это хорошая CMF. Но либо надо менять ваши желания по админке, либо менять инструмент

Если с нуля то конечно все ок. Но если натягивать на любую CMS то где-то будут ограничение. По ТЗ ваш проект не сложный. Реализовать его на любом фреймворке (Laravel, Django и т.д. ) довольно просто. Также решение будет работать быстрее и без лишних полей или еще чего-то в админке.
