Budget: 1200 PLN Deadline: 14 days
Good morning! My name is Oleksandra, I am a Middle Graphic Designer and illustrator with over 6 years of experience. Your project of combining mathematics with the everyday life of brothers is incredibly inspiring — it is exactly the kind of challenge where visual design becomes an educational tool.
Why my candidacy will be suitable:
1) Creating a world and characters (Key Visual): I have extensive experience in designing coherent visual systems. I will create the characters of three brothers (12, 11, and 5 years old) in a way that reflects their age and personality, becoming a recognizable hallmark of your foundation.
2) "Warm Watercolor" Style & Infographics: I can combine soft, artistic digital illustration (imitating watercolor) with clear, "notebook-style" diagrams. It is crucial for a child to understand integrals or probability without fear of formulas.
3) Comprehensive preparation for print (DTP): I not only draw but also handle the complete layout. I will help choose the format, paper weight, and type of binding (e.g., cover enhancements) to ensure the book is visually appealing and affordable.
4) Strategic approach: I understand that this is a commercial and long-term project. I will prepare the files so that they can be easily scaled for subsequent volumes of the series.
My proposal for implementation:
Pilot stage: I would be happy to create a test chapter to develop a common visual language.
Copyright: I offer full transfer of copyright for commercial and promotional purposes of the foundation.
Technology: I work in Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), which guarantees the highest print quality.
Estimated pricing and schedule:
I would be happy to provide a detailed cost estimate after reviewing the volume of one story (approximate number of illustrations). I propose dividing the process into stages: character design -> illustrations -> layout -> preparation for print.
I invite you to view my portfolio at Behance. I am ready to discuss the details and collaboratively create the series.
