Data parsing and automation in Adobe InDesign
Project Description
We at UNOWA are working on creating educational materials and are looking for a specialist who can assist with the technical part of automation, including in Adobe InDesign.
Tasks:
Extracting texts (and images if needed) from existing PDF files.
Creating structured data tables (Excel/CSV) for further use.
Renaming and organizing image files according to the tables.
Creating new PDF files based on ready-made templates in InDesign using the Data Merge function.
PDF File Formats (cards):
50×50 mm
110×80 mm
(image on one side, text on the other).
Conditions:
Estimated completion time: 1–2 weeks.
The project is entirely technical — the template design is already ready.
No time for training — we need a person with practical experience working with InDesign Data Merge, data parsing, Google Sheets, ready to start immediately.
