Job description:

Provide support for mission-critical database systems.
Perform installations, upgrades, and apply patches to databases running on Linux/Unix platforms.
Implementation and management of database objects including data files, tables, indexes, triggers, integrity constraints, materialized views, jobs, and database roles/permissions.
Extensive performance tuning against mission-critical databases using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Design and implement operational automation using scripts.
Design database performance specifications, database backup, and recovery plans, and database performance/capacity models including server capacity plans.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Min 5 years work experience with production support and maintenance as a MySQL or MariaDB DBA version 5.1 - 8.0 (5.1 - 10.5)
MySQL backup and recover
MySQL replication and clustering technologies
MySQL performance troubleshooting and optimization
MySQL monitoring requirements
MySQL migrations
MySQL upgrades
MySQL disaster recovery
Advanced Unix-like systems troubleshooting skills
Excellent technical documentation skills
Docker knowledge desirable
