I want to ask you for help with designing my android app. App is called ZenOn. It's a simple idea: Alert sound is played to the user at random time to bring her/him back to present moment from thoughts.

A user can chose frequency of alerts by entering her mindfulness level. There are 5 mindfulness levels to chose from, 0 to 4. For example, if user chooses level 0, he will get random alert in a time interval [30s, 2min]. In mindfulness level 5, interval is [1h, 3h]. Time interval [t1, t2] means that random alert will be played no sooner than t1 and no later than t2.

A control panel is needed where user can chose one of 5 mindfulness levels, turn off alerts (meaning close the app), open settings window, and turn off alert sound (switch to vibration only). This control panel will be an android notification.

That sets few constraints:

1. Control panel will be 64px high

2. It should adapt to varied width on different size phone screens.

3. User can invoke actions only by means of clicking. E.g. controls like sliders are not available.

The audience of the app are people that are practicing mindfulness and understand such things as being in the present moment, meditation, Buddhism and so on. That theme should be reflected in the design.

I am looking for an artistic and coherent concept from you. Keeping in mind that it's an app and taking into account the above mentioned constraints. App logo, control panel design, settings window look and feel, and, perhaps, sounds of alerts are parts of that concept.
