This is due to the change in the architecture of the microcontroller and the development environment: most likely, it will be necessary to use nRF Connect SDK or Zephyr RTOS. Also, the Bluetooth stack in Nordic operates on different principles, and the new sensors will require the integration of new drivers.

In order to specify exact timelines and costs, it is necessary to directly review the existing code from the previous device. It is also important to know if you can send me debugging boards or already routed custom ones with nRF52840 and the new sensors (programming "blindly" without the microcontroller itself, as my experience has shown, is a pain for both the performer and the client). Is there a preference for which specific environment the new firmware is expected in?
