Я думаю серед фрілансерів знайдуться ті, хто працює в поліграфії.
Якщо тут не знайду, обов'язково звернувсь до відповідної компанії.

Є, але на то й існує поліграфія, коли Вам показують формат майбутньої книги, дають попробувати на дотик папір обкладинки та інших внутрішніх сторінок. Можуть зробити вибіркове лакування, тощо. Все це потрібно бачити і трогати в реалі. Я би за це не брався, хоча працював 6 років в поліграфії. Як бути із ситуацією, коли Вам не сподобається готова продукція? Не дизайн, а саме готова продукція?!

Я, працював в поліграфії у Львові "приватна друкарня". Подібне завдання виконував, верстав дитячу книжку. Зі всіх обов'язків в мен були наступні:
- відсканувати ч/б малюнки художниці “від руки”.
- зробити макет
- дизайн обкладинки.
Власник друкарні заборонив мені використовувати, як коммерційна таємниця. Оскільки за друкарський станок не вставав 17 років, моїм станком вважаю лише indesign та його віртуальний станок distiller PS або лавсанова плівка на лазерний прінтер.

Вы бы вместо того чтобы заказчика троллить и учить как управлять бюджетом.
Зайдите самостоятельно на wolf.ua посчитайте ему стоимость “приблизительно” и укажите свою ставку.
Может заказчик стесняется и/или боится общаться по телефону со специалистами и печатниками по причине того то будут его грузить полиграфическим терминами

Вместо этих слов, лучше бы что то полезное сделали для заказчика.. Книгу например за 200 грн сверстали и распечатали

Когда у человека уже набран текст и есть все иллюстрации, верстка не займет много времени, поэтому дизайнера пишут такие цены. Но вот печать одного экземпляра с твердым переплетом это конечно же абсолютно другая цена.
