Job Description:

Our client, a dynamic ecommerce shop running on the Modified Shopsystem, is seeking an experienced PHP/JavaScript Developer. You will be working on a heavily customized online configurator, which forms a core part of the client's online operations. The position involves both extending the functionality of this configurator and deploying/testing new scripts that have been created. A proficiency in English is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the client to understand and document requirements for enhancements to the online configurator.

2. Develop, test, and implement new features and enhancements using PHP and JavaScript.

3. Deploy and test new scripts to the production environment, ensuring their smooth and stable operation.

4. Collaborate with a development team to ensure best practices and quality standards are met.

5. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve any issues that arise in the configurator.

6. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all code and development processes.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in PHP, JavaScript, and ecommerce development.

Key Requirements:

1. Significant professional experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and ideally, ecommerce platforms.

2. A deep understanding of the one of the following frameworks: Symphony, Laravel, Yii.

3. Previous experience working with complex, customized systems.

4. Fluency in English (both spoken and written).

5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.

6. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, and experience working with development systems for testing and deployment.

7. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

8. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.

9. Previous experience with the Modified Shopsystem is a plus but not mandatory.
