1. Structure of Auxiliary Tables and Daily Cash Flow Formation
A separate auxiliary table is created for each expense type, recording the date of the transaction, amount, and if necessary, a comment. Additionally, a table for receipts and a table for initial/final balances are created. The main cash flow report table aggregates data from all auxiliary tables by date, categorizing expenses, receipts, and calculating the daily balance.
2. Automation of Comment Addition
If the corresponding column in the auxiliary table contains the text field "Comment," when this row is transferred to the cash flow report, the comment content is automatically displayed in a separate column. If the field is empty, the report cell remains empty. This allows viewing notes for each transaction directly in the cash flow report without manual copying.
3. Calculation Logic and Formulas
In the cell "Balance at End of Day" of the report table, the formula is applied:
= Balance at Start of Day + Receipts for the Day – Total Expenses for All Categories for the Day
"Balance at Start of Day" is automatically taken from "Balance at End of Previous Day," ensuring continuity of calculations. For the first day of the report, the initial balance is set manually from the auxiliary balances table.
