getting Russian translations right is mostly about matching the natural flow of the language, not just converting words literally. machine translations always sound stiff and miss the context. had this case before and bad phrasing easily ruins user experience.

from what i know, Russian text expands by about fifteen to twenty percent compared to English. this often breaks UI layouts or buttons if the translation is too wordy, so keeping it concise is what saves the design.
