Responsibilities:
- Focus on quality and efficiency achieved through continuous improvement efforts
- Drive efforts to ensure that the team meets predefined KPIs
- Report on team delivery metrics
- Enforce coding standards and training
- Resolve development questions/escalations within the team
Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
- Must be well versed in HTML, CSS, and web standards
- Skilled at JavaScript, AJAX, and DOM scripting
- Strong ability to debug web pages
- Good design sensibilities and awareness of UX best practices
Nice to have:
- Strong interest in mobile web devices and applications
- Knowledge of website performance optimizations
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA and version control systems like git is strongly preferred
- JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
- Sass, XPath
- Unix command line
- iOS or Android development
- Object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with http and network requests
- Experience working with external clients
