Javascript Engineer (Backend) remote
Our client is looking for good Javascript Engineer (Backend) to help build a common API for financial institutions. The developers will work as a part of the existing engineering team located in London and help building adapters for extending the existing pool of banks connected to the system.
Client description:
Our client is an innovative London-based company specialized in financial technologies. It provides an account data aggregation, customer oriented finance management, screens scraping APIs and banking solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Developing NodeJS based adapters using latest JS technologies under client’s technical stuff supervision;
- Use screen scraping methods in order to create new interfaces for banks integration;
- Use Rest API for data transferring into client’s system;
- Participate in calls with the client to discuss the requirements;
- Works as a part of Agile team.
Requirements:
- Great understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP request logging, REST API, HTML parsing, TLS, session management, cookies, OAuth, etc);
- Good experience with JavaScript and main libraries and frameworks (jQuery, Angular, React, etc.);
- Good experience with Node.js and main libraries and tools (Express, Grunt, Bower, Mocha, etc.);
- TDD, focus on code readability and quality;
- Good understanding of security concepts in general;
- Good English communication.
Plus:
- Some experience with PhantomJS (phantomjs.org);
- Some experience with C# or Java;
- Experience with Docker;
Big Plus:
- Advanced protocol analyzers (WireShark);
- Experience with previous scraping projects;
- Experience with Headless browser (PhantomJs, Selenium);
