Hello. We apologize for the use of Russian in the project description. The entire technical stack, Master Checklist, and communication with the current development team were conducted in that language. To maintain the accuracy of terminology and the effectiveness of the tech lead's work, the description is published in the original language of the documentation. Thank you for your understanding.
Project Description:
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (JetEngine Expert) for the final polishing of interfaces and setting up user interaction logic for the P2P yacht rental platform — CharterBnB.com
The project is at the MVP+ stage, and the architecture is ready. Your task is to transform the complex backend functionality into a user-friendly, "marine," and trustworthy interface.
Area of Responsibility:
- Core Synchronization: Implementation of interfaces that work in conjunction with a custom SQL engine (Hybrid CCT Engine).
- UI/UX Refactoring: Setting up filters, forms, and maps for instant response (AJAX).
- AdBlock Compatibility: "Cleaning" the code from elements blocked by extensions.
- Marine Storytelling: Integrating brand style and marine terminology into control elements.
Technical Stack:
WordPress, Elementor, JetEngine (Query Builder / CCT), JetSmartFilters, JetFormBuilder, GitHub Actions, WPMerge.io.
Your Key Engineering Challenges:
- CCT & Map Sync: Technical linkage of the search interface (JetSmartFilters) with a high-performance availability index (CCT). Ensuring simultaneous AJAX updates of the map and list without page reload.
- AdBlock Warfare: Total refactoring of CSS class names and IDs. We need to eliminate occurrences of ads, promo, banner, so that the personal accounts of owners do not disappear due to ad blockers.
- Zolushka Protocol (UI): Design of the Early Bird promotion: implementation of crossed-out prices, accent stamps, and dynamic banners for Private and Business rates.
- Smart Conversion Hooks: Implementation of the Phone Privacy mechanism (hidden number with Reveal logic via Ajax) and visual character counters in forms.
- Auth Redesign: Redesign of the login system based on tabs (Lessor/Lessee) with clear visual separation of user roles.
Team Interaction:
- Technical Subordination: You work under the direct supervision of Tech Lead (Block 1). All changes are submitted via Pull Request in GitHub.
- Database Synchronization: Setting up the interface (JetEngine/ACF) in the sandbox and transferring through WPMerge.io only after approval from the tech lead.
- Gatekeeper Protocol: You are the sole owner of the frontend-dev branch. Direct access to the Live server is not available.
Conditions:
- Payment: Fixed for the entire scope "turnkey".
- Format: through the Freelancehunt Safe.
Our Rules of the Game (Master Standard SSoT):
- GitHub First: No edits via FTP. Only Atomic Commits, PR, and Branch Protection.
- Step 0: Any work in the sandbox starts with "Pull from Live" via WPMerge.io.
- No-Code Priority: Custom JS/CSS only where JetEngine capabilities are insufficient for KPI.
- Responsibility: We value autonomy. You choose architectural solutions, but you are responsible for the outcome.
Details:
A complete technical specification, detailed Master Checklist, and access will be provided after a short technical interview. We need a specialist who values order and discipline.
We look forward to having you on board!
“Important: The full scope of tasks, technical metrics (KPI), and development rules are documented in the Detailed Technical Specification and Master Standard SSoT, which are provided to the candidate before the opening of the Safe. The reservation of funds in the Safe is made under the condition of fulfilling all requirements of these documents. Acceptance of work is based on 100% compliance of the final result with these standards.”
