Customization of SMarket POS for working with grouped products. ( VisualBasic )
We need a Visual Basic specialist who can understand the SMarket POS program and customize it to our needs. ( The software is quite old )
Current Situation
Currently, SMarket POS implements the functions of an automated cashier/seller workplace, where products are added to the shopping list in two ways:
- Manually entering the article number.
- Scanning the product's barcode.
When scanning or entering the article number, one product is added to the system.
Task
It is necessary to customize SMarket POS so that when scanning a specific barcode or entering an article number, a group of products is automatically added to the list. This should work similarly to selling product sets in stores (for example, cosmetic sets that may contain several products at once).
- When scanning one barcode, several products included in the set should be added to the list.
- The price of the set may be lower than the sum of the individual products, so a discount should be calculated for these products immediately, so that the final price corresponds to the price of the set.

Откуда добавляются товары в список? Есть база данных или какой-то файл? -
Да, сейчас есть файлик с товарами, который выступает как база. Насколько я понимаю, при сканировании штрихкода, smarket идет в эту так называемую базу, смотрит есть ли там совпадения и добавляет лайн в список.

Да, при сканировании кода или при вводе с клавиатуры, может мышкой можно скопировать/вставить числовое значение штрих-кода - программа обращается к файлу после этого.
Какой формат файла?
И по какому признаку надо определить, что введённому товару соответствует ещё группа других? -
Формат файла: .dbf
Как определить, что товару соответствует группа других товаров:
1. Один из вариантов — изменить артикул или код товара, добавив специальный символ или букву в начало или конец. Это будет обозначать, что к товару относятся другие связанные товары.
2. Также можно добавить в .dbf файл новую колонку IsGroupAttached. Если в этой колонке есть значение, это будет означать, что товар относится к группе.
3. Для хранения привязанных товаров можно создать ещё одну колонку AttachedProducts, где будут перечислены коды связанных товаров.

Надо менять структуру базы, исправлять механизм добавления товаров в программе, заносить связи между товарами, а потом сканируется штрих-код и в список выбираются подвязанные товары, да? -
