📄 TECHNICAL ASSIGNMENT — MawLine

1. GENERAL CONCEPT
MawLine is a competitive race on a straight track with parkour. Players run to the finish, use their hands to grab, interact with each other, and are under the pressure of MAW, which destroys the track behind them. Players can move forward, sideways, and backward, but cannot leave the track.
2. TRACK AND ROUND
Track: straight, width and height fixed, fully destructible by MAW, contains bars, beams, edges, and grab objects.
Round: duration 8 minutes. During this time, MAW reaches the end of the track and destroys it. Players can reach the finish faster.
3. MAW (CHASER)
Description: a huge mechanical head, old industrial style, with an oven inside that burns everything.
Behavior: moves only forward, matches the track in width and height, bites off segments of the track, destroys players and objects.
First contact zone (1–2 m): the track cracks, brief loss of control (~0.5 sec).
4. HAND SYSTEM AND CONTROL
Principle:
Grab works by holding the button, release — release the hand
No stamina, balance through timing and mistakes
Point grab: hand grabs strictly at the aim point, object/player must be within reach
Control:
PC: LMB — left hand, RMB — right hand
Mobile: two buttons on the right, left — left hand, right — right hand
5. GRABBING PLAYERS
Passive: player A grabs B, A does not control movement, B loses 5–10% speed
Active: A grabs B, presses "crouch", both stand still, holding is infinite, but if MAW catches up — both die
Double grab: one hand on the player, the other on the object, sudden stop for both, disorientation 0.3–0.6 sec
Restrictions: cannot hold in the finish zone, cannot chain >2 players, MAW always resets grabs
6. ENERGY DRINKS
Work like fruits in Blox Fruits, one energy drink per round
No energy, only cooldowns
