It is necessary to make the following modification to the computer mouse. Replace the motion sensor in the mouse with a module that simulates this movement and is controlled by an Arduino or STM32 microcontroller. It is preferable to modify an optical mouse, but a mechanical (ball) mouse can also be used.
Computer 1 transmits data (mouse movement coordinates X and Y, button press and release) to the microcontroller. The microcontroller converts this data into a format acceptable for the movement imitation module. The module is connected to the mouse electronics. The mouse controls the cursor on Computer 2. Overall, Computer 1, through the modified mouse, controls Computer 2.
The purpose of the project is to make the modified mouse completely indistinguishable from a regular one.
The idea of replacing the mouse with a microcontroller (mouse emulation) is not suitable, as the controller can be easily identified by software on Computer 2.
The microcontroller should perform only three functions – moving by dX, dY points, pressing a button, and releasing a button. I can assist with programming the controller if necessary.
