Що маєте на увазі під "більш новою версією"? Конфігурація для 7.7 не працюватиме під 8.x (конвертор конфігурацій існує, але, як на мене, дає лише "іграшковий" варіант, який треба суттєво допрацьовувати - або навіть переписувати - до робочого).
Можливо, краще не зберігати конфігурацію, а взяти одну з поширених конфігурацій 8.x, перенести дані (є засоби зробити це досить швидко) та переписати для 8.x ті доробки, що було зроблено у вашій конфігурації? -

Здравствуйте, в общем в задание указана почти весь обьем задач. Если более детально:
У нас сейчас стоит 1С: Предприятие версия 7.7. 1С у нас интегрирована с сайтом, но мы собираемся полностью его переделывать и для этого нам потребуется, чтобы со стороны 1С была выгрузка данных в формате JSON, так как софт сайта поддерживает именно этот формат. Так же мы хотим подчистить данные в 1С по всем устаревшим позициям, клиентам а также историю заказов, так как за 10 лет накопилось много ненужной информации.
Если у Вас есть дополнительные вопросы то буду рад на них ответить.
Насчет перехода на новую версию, то это не обязательно. Просто если браться за этот вопрос, то можно было бы и перевестись, если в этом есть смысл. -
