Situation:
• Less than 50% of actual purchases are transmitted to Google Ads through the Shopify plugin.
• 3% more purchases are sent through GA4 than actually exist.
• It is necessary to set up correct conversion tracking so that we have accurate data in Google Ads for optimizing Performance Max campaigns.

1. Conduct an audit of the current Shopify integration with Google Ads and GA4:
• Check the configuration of the Google Shopify plugin.
• Check the sending of events to GA4 (purchase, begin_checkout, add_to_cart, etc.).

2. Set up or adjust events so that:
• 100% of actual purchases from the site are transmitted to Google Ads, or as close to this value as possible.
• Avoid duplication of conversions when using GA4 as a source for Google Ads.
• Ensure that the attribution of purchases in Google Ads is as accurate as possible (especially for Performance Max).
3. (Optional) If necessary — set up clean and transparent event tracking directly in the Google Ads account through Google Tag Manager.
4. Provide a brief report after completion: what was done, how events are transmitted, which method is recommended to use as the primary for conversions in Google Ads.
