The conversion events you want will be tracked separately for Google Analytics and separately for Google Ads (so that data about the conversion fact gets to the Google Ads account faster, as well as accounting for associated conversions from ads).
If you want the conversion event data to be imported into Google Ads from Google Analytics, I will set up their tracking for Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, and then link GA4 with Google Ads and import key events into Google Ads. You can choose either of these two methods; just from my own experience, I recommend the first one.
