Since the files have different structures and it is also necessary to comply with the import conditions, as you described, you will not be able to execute this with standard functionality either on Prom or on Good, since the basic import functionality is already defined there.
I suggest a separate handler in Python, we will discuss the correspondence of categories and materials, and everything will be updated and added. The script itself will be placed either on some VPS or we will come up with something else, and it will similarly take XML once a day, work with them, and update everything on the site via API (Prom and Good have this).
