Здравствуйте. Странный костыль вы придумали потому и не работает. Таксономии в wp сами по себе иерархические и все работает из коробки как нужно. Нужна 1 таксономия тип_услуги и всё. Просто создаем категорию тип_услуги1 и дочернюю к ней тип_услуги2... Дальше просто одну услугу кладём в родительскую а вторую услугу в дочернюю. и тип ссылки /%category%/%postname%/
и всё.

Настроил на сайте все как вы описали: тип ссылки, иерархия категорий и привязка услуг к соответствующей. Но результата нет. Ссылка все равно без категории.
Скажите пожалуйста, получится лм таким способом сделать так, чтоб у родительской категории была ссылка такого вида - тип записи/url-приставка записи (services/target). А у дочерней тип записи/категория/url-приставка записи (services/target/target_1). Просто таким способом который вы описали получается, что у родительской записи будет ссылка services/target/target. Или я что-то неправильно понял?
И еще, сможете ли сделать этот вариант на сайте? Само собой за оплату -

По сути нужно, чтоб и родительская и дочерняя запись относились к одной основной категории, но при этом ссылки имели вид, как описал выше.Скажите пожалуйста, этим методом получится сделать такой формат ссылок?

По другому не могу сделать. Но по идее если правильно разложить категории и пост положить в правильную категорию оно так и будет. Если вы понимаете о чем я говорю. У вас же тип записи это просто категория. Вот тип записи сделать родительской категорией.

Да, я понял о чем вы. По такой системе получилось сделать только для раздела "Записи", но в произвольном типе записей у меня все равно не выводится url-приставка категорий в ссылке, хотя в постоянных ссылках указана структура /категории/имя_поста/. Пока не могу разобраться в чем дело. Не знаете, в чем может быть причина?

Да вы правы. Я потестировал с custom post type и оно не работает.
Тут нужно немого кода добавить чтобы заработало.
