Node.js Developer with AWS Experience
50 USD We have a program (database) that was written for us many years ago. The code is publicly available on github, and the database itself is on an AWS server. We need someone to help maintain it. Amazon constantly has updates, and as I understand it, our program code needs to be adapted to these updates in some way.
We have the following requirements for the candidate:
Node.js Update: Must be able to update the existing application from an older version of Node.js to a newer, more current version. This includes ensuring compatibility, performance, and security measures are up to date.
AWS Redeployment: Must have skills to redeploy the updated application on AWS, including knowledge of AWS services, deployment processes, and best practices for scalable and secure deployment.
RDS Certificate Update: Need to update the SSL/TLS certificate for the AWS RDS instance.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in Node.js, expertise in managing the AWS ecosystem, and experience in database security protocols.
Specifically, we received a notification that Amazon will be updating something, and accordingly, we need to do something on our end by August.
