It is necessary to combine several animations into BlendSpace and apply them in the project to create smooth and realistic transitions in the character's behavior while standing and crouching. It is also necessary to use smooth transitions (rinterp) for additional realism and to prevent abrupt changes in movement direction.
Tasks:
Creating BlendSpace for the standing character:
- Movement with weapon (mode "Aim") — the character moves with the weapon held out in front.
- Movement with weapon (mode "Relax") — the character moves in a relaxed pose.
- Turning in place with weapon (mode "Aim") — smooth turns in place with the weapon held out in front.
- Turning in place with weapon (mode "Relax") — turns in a relaxed mode.
- Running animation (Cycle) — animation of cyclic running in a circle.
- Start movement animation — use for a smooth start of movement from a standstill.
Creating BlendSpace for the crouching character:
- Movement with weapon (mode "Aim") — animation of movement with the weapon held out in front.
- Movement with weapon (mode "Relax") — animation of movement in a relaxed pose while crouching.
- Turning in place — add turning animations while crouching.
- Start movement animation — add a smooth start of movement while crouching.
Setting up smooth transitions:
- Apply
rinterpfor smooth transitions between animations, so the character's movements look realistic and natural. - Limit abrupt changes in direction: ensure gradual changes in movement direction to avoid sharp turns and add realism.
