Consolidation of price lists in Excel
Task: unify the structure of price lists from 10 suppliers and combine the result into a single file for further import/update of product items in ocStore (OpenCart).
Proposed tool: Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Macros, VBA).
Source description:
- Price lists with products from 10 suppliers
- Total number of products 50 thousand+
- Files differ in structure and quality of content
- There may be a case where within one supplier it may be necessary to process 2 files, because parts of the required data are in different files
- Files may be in xlsx, xml, json, google sheets format
- Languages: Data in the price lists may be in one language (RU or UA) or in both.
