We are looking for a graphic designer to work on a regular basis.
It is necessary to draw pictures for book illustrations. I have attached examples of similar illustrations, but there is no limit to imagination and creativity here - these are equipment, tools, various shelters and structures, animal and plant life, people in various life situations, transportation, various diagrams, and infographics.
General theme: bushcraft, survival, wilderness tourism, interior decoration, and construction of various shelters.
The book involves many illustrations (up to a hundred), we do not have a designer, but we think it's pencil, pen, charcoal, possibly on a tablet, graphics in black and white (correct me if I'm wrong). The ability to draw by hand and in a consistent style is welcomed. We are confident that in this project, you will be able to fully unleash your talents in creativity.
WHAT needs to be implemented first?:
1) Create 5 unique characters for use in some illustrations and book covers (this is a family of 5 - dad, mom, 2 teenage children, and a little toddler in diapers), they will occasionally "participate in illustrations" as actors in various situations. Minimalism, but with the ability to convey emotions through poses and faces (fear, surprise, contemplation, joy, etc.). All in hiking clothes.
2) Illustrate the 1st part of the book series according to additional specifications for each drawing.
4) Create a color cover for the book.
3) Continue to illustrate all subsequent parts of the book series in a consistent style (we are interested in having the same artist do the work)
Our bonus - you will be officially credited in the book as a graphic designer, and this is a real opportunity to receive orders in the future from other clients and book publishers in the USA.
We hope for flexibility in pricing, considering the scale of the order. Therefore, we have put a tentative figure under this order, we will agree on it during the process.
We will divide it into stages and tasks - all this and details we can discuss during the work.
Please provide examples from your portfolio implementing our ideas in a similar style - this will expedite the process of selecting the contractor for the project. Please - write if you feel capable and ready to deeply immerse yourself in the subject, able to create various types of illustrations. It is also very important to constantly be in touch and have the ability to work quickly so that the project does not drag on for half a year.
