На хостинге стоит перенаправление с http на https
Или его ещё в htaccess нужно прописать? Просто это проявилось недавно... Ничего вроде не меняли...

1. Устроит ли это гугл бот? Проиндексирует ли он эти страницы?
2. Каким образом этот механизм работает?
3. Не навредит ли он сайту в целом?
4. Не повлияет ли это на скорость загрузки, сео и выдачу?

1. Очевидно, что проиндексирует.
2. Это не механизм. У вас, при заходе бот сперва попадает на ссылку с http;//, а потом редиректится на нормальный url с https
3. Исправление ошибок обычно не вредит.
4. Если покажете сеошнику, то как раз он вам подтвердит, что это гнрубая ошибка с точки зрения сео
