In Google Ads, in the Performance Max campaign, fake orders come in from time to time. What they represent: an order for an expensive book comes through the website, with the details of a real person - first name, last name, city, Nova Poshta branch, and indeed you call - such a person exists, but they know nothing about such an order, and some have even said that they have already received 5 calls today from different numbers. Perhaps such orders are made by competitors or they could be made by unscrupulous owners of internet platforms where Google shows ads - by clicking on the ad and ordering an expensive product, they thus inform the system that their resource is effective and more traffic should be directed here.

Task (the task set for advertising specialists):

Not to limit the number of fake orders, but to solve this problem 100%, so that either there are no such orders at all, or the amounts of these orders do not go into advertising.

Solution (solution from advertising specialists):

The problem is solved through complex advanced conversion tracking, where the conversion from the success page will be in the status of secondary conversion, while the primary conversion will be sent to Google Ads via a Google Sheets table after verifying the order and changing its status to "Completed" in the website admin panel.

Thus, what needs to be refined. The entire order processing process occurs as before, there is no need to block anything or change anything. It is necessary to ensure that at the moment of manually changing the order status to "Completed" in the website admin panel - the order and customer data are transmitted to the Google Sheets table, which will be located on my Google Drive, in the corresponding format according to the specifications provided by the advertising specialists.
