Переезд с Ostore 2.1 на 2.3
ocStore 2.1.0.2.1 шаблон new Store
Имеется долгоработающий сайт с множеством платных модулей. Нужно срочно сменить дизайн сайта (редизайн). Решено было сменить шаблон.. Но его минимальные требования - Opencart 2.3.x (Ocstore, Русская Сборка, чиcтый Opencart)
Шаблон уже купили (CyberStore ).

Абсолютно все ваши модули слетят.
Обновить с 2.1 на 2.3 - это по сути сделать совершенно новый магазин. Ни один модуль от 2.1 не будет работать на 2.3 - у них разные структуры и разные контроллеры.

Плохо. проще дизайн сменить вручную, как я понимаю

Если сверху старого поставите новый шаблон - все сломается. Шаблоны в 99,9% заменяют опенкартовские файлы своими.
Я рекомендую делать новый магазин, а старый оставить как есть и просто не продвигать его. Поставить на нем баннер типа: Мы расширились и теперь у нас 2 магазина и второй еще круче первого. И т.д. и т.п. Делал такое неоднократно и заказчики счастливы.
Старый магазин угасает где-то за пол года и за это время новый уже выходит в топы поисковиков (при грамотном продвижении).
