Gallery Page, or Collections Page
Gallery section is enhanced with the help of the standard Shopify “Filter” functionality. A set of painting “tags” and “properties” is defined and maintained for every painting.
Standard Shopify “Collections” functionality is unlocked, allowing us to create custom collections.
Painting Page, or PDP
Painting Page is commonly referred to by the industry as the “PDP” or “Product Description Page”.
Issue with the painting image cut off is fixed, it is shown in actual dimensions.
User is able to add painting to the cart.
Painting Description is enhanced with a “See it live at” line that shows the current physical location of the painting or links to the event. This would be controlled by the web site maintenance team via Copy Updates.
Online Checkout
Site Visitors are able to complete purchases online. Site Visitors will be charged for shipping and handling, exact amount TBD.
Inventory Management
We are able to generate QR-Code for each painting. QR Code leads users to the PDP for this painting.
We are able to quickly set the location of the painting: website, live exhibition at the event, gallery.
We are able to quickly set painting status as “sold”, “not available online”, and “available”. Exact wording TBD. This can be achieved via Shopify or some other technology. This needs to be mobile friendly since a large number of our sales are at the events with only smartphones at our disposal.
Reporting
We are able to generate two types of reports using Shopify and/or custom tools:
List of items sold, with the description and photos if possible
Financial Details of each transaction
Events
Current functionality is maintained and/or enhanced with Shopify features.
Donate
Current functionality is maintained after the port
