1. Project type:
Create a 3D model of a polygonal sculpture with geometric stylization (in the form of polygons).
2. Main requirements for the model:
• Format: The model must be created in a format that supports editing (for example, .blend, .obj, .fbx).
• Structure: All elements of the model must consist of flat polygons (triangles or polygons).
3. Functionality for unfolding onto a plane:
• The model must be unfolded onto a plane to create templates: it is necessary to ensure the possibility of unfolding polygons.
• Unfolding: Provide a template for each polygon in a format that supports laser cutting (for example, .dxf, .svg, .ai).
• Consider that after cutting, the elements must assemble into a three-dimensional shape without additional adaptations.
4. Purpose:
This sculpture will be made by laser cutting, so it is important:
• To ensure clear outlines of each polygon.
• To optimize the arrangement of elements for efficient material use.
• To provide attachment or connection points between polygons (numbering the edges of template pieces and the angle at which to bend the parts).
