We are looking for individuals for a unique project to create a visual novel that will immerse players in a world of dark medieval times with elements of realism and other artistic styles. We need people specializing in drawing characters (full-body or fitting them into the background), as well as people specializing in drawing scenes (examples provided below).
Project Description:
The game takes us to the 18th century in one of the provinces of France, namely Jevodan, in a small village called Rudniki. Initially, the village seems like a typical agrarian and mining place, of which there are plenty in France. The main character named Ervan is brought there by a mysterious order regarding the disappearance of people in this region, which occurs systematically and regularly. The client is convinced that there is a plot behind this, turning this area into his hunting grounds, keeping the population in fear, but everything is much more complex. The investigation is prolonged due to the winter season and constant blizzards, which are not very common in this region, "wolf-like, unnaturally large paws dusted with snow, and within half an hour, there is no trace left of them."
Requirements:
Talent and Creativity: We are looking for artists with a unique style and expressiveness, capable of creating captivating images and scenes that will stay in the players' memory.
Understanding of Dark Medieval Times: It is important to have an understanding of the atmosphere and characteristic features of the era, as well as the ability to convey this in the game, which we will assist with.
Ability to Work with Drawing Programs: Knowledge of various drawing programs (such as Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, etc.) is mandatory.
Collaboration Skills: We are looking for artists who can work in a team, open to constructive criticism, and willing to collaborate with other team members.
