We are looking for people for a unique project to create a visual novel that will immerse players in the world of dark medieval times with elements of realism and other artistic styles. We need both people who specialize in drawing characters (full-body or ability to integrate them into the background), as well as people who specialize in drawing scenes (examples are provided below).
Project Description:
The game takes us to the 18th century in one of the provinces of France, namely Chevadan, in a small village called Mines. At first, the village seems like a typical agrarian and mining place, of which there are plenty in France. The main character named Erwan was brought there by a mysterious order regarding the disappearance of people in this region, which occurs systematically and regularly. The client is convinced that there is a plot behind this, turning this place into his hunting grounds, keeping the population in fear, but everything is much more complicated. The investigation is delayed due to the winter season and constant blizzards, which are not very typical for this region "wolf-like, unnaturally large paws dusted with snow, and within half an hour there is no trace left of them."
Requirements:
Talent and Creativity: We are looking for artists with a unique style and expressiveness, capable of creating captivating images and scenes that will stay in the players' memory.
Understanding of Dark Medieval Times: It is important to have an understanding of the atmosphere and characteristic features of the era, as well as the ability to convey this in the game, with which we will assist.
Ability to Work with Drawing Programs: Knowledge of various drawing programs (such as Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, etc.) is mandatory.
Collaboration Skills: We are looking for artists who can work in a team, open to constructive criticism, and willing to collaborate with other team members.
