Многие исполнители, которые откликнутся на ваш проект, никак не будут связаны с Википедией (частый случай). Так что вы можете попробовать сами с тем же успехом.
Кстати, если я верно понял (судя по обсуждению статьи на КУ), главная претензия к оформлению, а не значимости. Так что, наверное, отстаивать толком не придётся. Нужно причесать.

Глянул ещё раз то обсуждение. Какой-то участник уже внёс правки, связанные с оформлением. Также я посмотрел критерии значимости для политиков – персона им соответствует, как я понял (и номинатор это подтверждает).
Как мне кажется, вам нужно просто ждать. Можно попросить кого-нибудь из участников с флагом подводящего итоги закрыть номинацию.
