Project Name:
Temperature and status monitoring program for PCs.
Project Goal:
Create a portable application for monitoring temperature sensors, SMART status of hard drives, their health level, and free space on drives with the ability to customize the interface and notification settings.
Functional Requirements:
Main Functionality:
- Monitoring temperature from motherboard, processor, and graphics card sensors.
- Obtaining data on the SMART status of drives.
- Tracking free space on all connected drives.
- Notifications when critical values are reached (temperature, SMART status, free space).
Settings (available only under password):
- Setting thresholds for notifications (temperature, drive status).
- Adding an email address for sending notifications.
- Configuring notification schedule.
Interface Customization:
- Ability to add a logo and change the color scheme.
Portable Version:
- The application does not require installation.
Technical Requirements:
Development Language:
- C# or Python.
Platform:
- Windows (versions from Windows 10 and above).
Additionally:
- Logging of monitoring parameters.
Confidentiality and Source Code Transfer:
- The contractor provides the client with the complete source code of the application with comments.
- The contractor is not allowed to use the application in their portfolio.
- The source codes are deleted from the contractor after transfer.
