Product Manager/CPO-Freelancer-Customer Matching Portal

About Us:

Gradient IT is a SAP consulting and staffing company headquartered in Germany. We’re currently in the process of developing an innovative Freelancer-Customer Matching portal, aiming to revolutionize how freelancers and clients connect. Our primary objective is to launch the first Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within the next three months, testing our business hypotheses in the German/DACH market.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Product Manager with the potential to transition into the pivotal role of Chief Product Officer (CPO) after a successful launch. The CPO will spearhead the entire product portfolio and drive the company’s product strategy.

Compensation:

Budget for the initial phase is restricted to approximately €1,000/month (dependent on experience). Post successful launch, this will transition to a competitive salary, supplemented by performance-based bonuses and equity participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the CEO/Owner to lead ideation, conceptualization, and prioritization of features crucial for the MVP launch.
• Collaborate with our designer and developer teams to create user-centric solutions.
• Ensure the portal delivers an intuitive, seamless, and engaging user experience.
• Coordinate and conduct user testing to refine product usability.
• Oversee the launch process and post-launch activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 1−2 years of experience in product management, preferably in a dynamic tech startup environment.
• A proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• German would be a plus.
