если это серъёзный портал с каталогом компаний то самописный сайт делать нельзя. Надо воспользоваться wordpress или подобной системой. Там такие вещи что у вас на сайте делаются в мгновение ока причём на профессиональном уровне. И очень устойчиво. А самописный сайт никогда не приветствовался. тем более с таким ответственным направлением как каталог компаний. И то что вы так авторитетно пишите что переделывать ничего не будем, то это неправильно. Переделывать надо. То что ваш профессионал разработчик сидел уродывался часами создавая сайт на wordpress делается за 2-3 дня причём на боле высоком уровне.

В поиске можете найти описание "лол". А так тут нечего доказывать, у заказчика готовая система, и он точно работает даже на 5.6 круче описанной Вами cms. Развитие - главный скил любого разработчика.

прикол в тому, що cms з їхніми плагінами часто вигладають як жигулі, з яких зробили літак. це можливо? звісно так, але стільки зусиль, щоб по факту скрипіли двері, багажник в польоті відчинявся і т.д. краще б одразу літак робили.
вп був cms для блогів. вукомерс не від того з'явився, що це така класна cms, а скоріше навпаки.
на опенкарт також можно блог зробити але нафіга?
є рішення, які покривають задачи - cms. але якщо ні, то не треба з жигулів робити літак -
ВІн не розуміє, якщо поставити на hetzner WP+elementor, особливо на шаред, то він отримає при такому порталі і вибірці - варнінг на кількість запитів (там 3 роки в минулому були старенькі панелі також). Та що говорити за 10+ років роботи з ВП розробник повинен вже розуміти, які можливості дає йому його інструмент. Та не хаяти других розробників, що він/вони - "уродывался часами создавая сайт ".

та це вже якась секта. все на вп! це такий мазохізм писати під нього щось нестандартне, але адепти мабуть від цього кайф отримують. так я роблю франкеншейна, але мені не потрібно інші технології вчити. хоча на чомусь іншому ти б витрати в рази менше часу (але звісно спочатку треба витратити час на вивчення інших технологій).
cms - це класна штука. дуже економе час. але це не панацея. не зі всіма задачами вони можуть впоратися. і якщо їх адаптувати до задач, то часто з цього виходить іспанський сором, як би не старався. але піпл звикає. -
