Python script for automating work with Chrome browser extension and integration with the website (author

Task Description:

It is required to develop a Python script that automates the registration process, email confirmation, and user session startup for the website app.gradient.network using a browser extension (Gradient Sentry Node).

Functional Requirements:

1. Terminal operation (the script must run and operate entirely from the terminal, without the need for a graphical interface).

2. Automation of registration:

   • Launch Chrome/Chromium profile with the installed extension.

   • Register a new user on the website via email or OAuth (for example, using iCloud/Apple ID redirect).

   • Email confirmation (processing the email, extracting the code or link, confirming registration).

3. Authorization and extension startup:

   • After successful registration, automatically log into the account and launch the Gradient Sentry Node extension for this profile.

   • Verify that the extension is working and the session is established (for example, parsing the status “Good”).

4. Proxy management:

   • Ability to specify individual proxies (SOCKS5/HTTP) for each profile at startup.

5. Email handling:

   • Integration with email inbox (IMAP/POP3) to confirm registration.

6. Logging:

   • Save logs and technical parameters of operation in JSON/CSV format for subsequent analysis (email, registration status, start date/time, etc.).

7. Scalability:

   • Ability to scale the script for working with multiple profiles (for testing), but NOT for mass registration of third-party/foreign accounts.

Implementation Requirements:

• Language — Python (preferably compatible with Python 3.10+)

• Main tools — Selenium (or Playwright), libraries for email handling (imaplib/anymail/pyzmail, etc.)

• Installing Chrome extension from file (.crx) or from the store

• Example/instructions for launching and configuration (readme.md)

Important Conditions:

• All actions are performed only with my personal accounts for testing user scenarios.

• No anti-detect solutions are required (using standard Chrome/Chromium build).

• The project does not violate the terms of use of the Gradient site or Google Chrome.

• Mass registration, buying, selling, renting accounts, or bypassing service restrictions are not needed.
