    Raspberry Pi  это linux, в ней все есть для управления система pinctrl  и библиотека управления Gpio.

    Надо конкретно понимать что Вы хотите реализовать.

    в Linux який ставиться на Raspberry Pi вже реалізований API для роботи gpio (це ваші реле, концевіки (порти ваода), димери і т.д.) Linux при завантаженні та правильної налаштування візьме так скажемо під керування Вашу плату. Взагалі вам потрібно лише організувати роботу з подіями.
