Dear freelancers, this task is for those who have experience working with OpenStreetMap applications version 3 and version 5! Or the desire to quickly understand and gain the necessary experience. Please do not make reckless bids with the intention of later raising the price by tens of times. This work is for the prospect of further collaboration both in development and technical support (paid).
The application was written over 10 years ago. In Android Studio Java. It does not run on new versions of Android. The application contains the following windows. One with a full-screen map, another contains received information from Bluetooth and the indication of the connected Bluetooth device, the third is the program menu (settings for theme, language, path selection for maps, and more). + A small pop-up window with call settings opens. A pop-up window for searching Bluetooth devices (scanner) A pop-up window for confirming the action of pressing a button. It works with offline maps, based on OpenStreetMap version three. It has a connected Bluetooth device with which the program communicates. The information received via Bluetooth is displayed on the map in the program. Points, distance. This entire functionality is written and works.
What needs to be done.
1. First, save all functionality (do not lose the functions of the program that already exist and work, but add) of the old application (formulas and others should be transferred to the new one or rewritten without losing functionality as needed). It is necessary to update the engine to work with version five (current) of OpenStreetMap. There is an option (to discuss with the performer) to leave version 3 of OpenStreetMap.
2. Update the design. Create two resizable windows in the program with system information (These windows already exist, but are not resizable.). There is a new day and night design in Figma. Implement this in the application.
3. Add menu items for general system and sending messages to the developer if needed.
4. Add a button that can be turned off from the general menu of the program, to send a command to the device connected via Bluetooth. Sending a command with protection against accidental pressing (slider). I will write the code myself, the response too.
5. Add an animated logo display during the first launch of the program after installation (7 seconds)
6. Add Firebase to the application. Connect to the account (the account exists).
7. Assistance in placing the application on the Google Play platform (the account exists).

The source code is available, I will send it to the performer. For evaluation, I can send the apk. Payment for a completed working project. Non-working code or working not at 100% No one wants to redo it, unfortunately.
