Project goal:
Implement the first stage of the MVP web service Unlockio — playing YouTube videos in the Tesla browser while in motion (without iframe).
🔍 What needs to be done:
Downloading videos from YouTube
Using
yt-dlpto download videos.
Transcoding videos
Using
ffmpegin the format.mp4 (H.264 + AAC), compatible with Tesla
Playback
Implement an HTML5 player (without iframe), which:
works while in motion in the Tesla browser (the player is embedded in our site)
has responsive layout
contains only
<video>without unnecessary HTML/JSvideo and audio must play while in motion (in park mode - everything works without issues, but in Drive mode - Tesla blocks video playback for safety reasons. The custom player must disguise the video on our site as a dynamic page, not a video, tricking Tesla's algorithms. Similar projects have already been implemented by other services).

💰 Budget:
Negotiable for the first stable release (stage 1 - simply launching a custom player that plays downloaded YouTube videos on our server in the Tesla browser while in motion (this is possible. There are developments and similar projects have already been implemented)). After a successful launch - the project will be detailed, design added, additional functionality to the site (Google Maps, Waze, playback of videos downloaded from other sources (Megogo, Netflix)).
