Collection of exhibition schedules (USA - 2025): for the top 50 cities, categories B2B/B2C/Startups

Compile a list of exhibition centers in the USA and a schedule of relevant exhibitions for the entire year of 2025.

Exhibitions must fit into 3 categories:

1. Exhibitions of major manufacturers and heavy machinery (B2B segment) - for example, automotive exhibitions, boats, heavy manufacturing, military industry, natural resource extraction, steelmaking equipment, construction, medical equipment, agriculture.

2. Retail exhibitions (B2C segment) - mainly sellers on Amazon, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, ranging from furniture, electronics, and hardware manufacturing to hunting gear, toys, sports goods, and leisure products. 

3. Startups - events related to seeking investments, startup events, startup awards, exhibitions for inventors, hackathons, etc.

Work stages:

1. Use the list of the TOP 50 cities in the USA by population https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_population 

2. In Google Maps, sequentially enter the name of each city from the TOP list.

3. While in the center of each city, type the keyword “Convention Center” and include sorting by popularity.

4. List in a table all the websites of exhibition centers that have a rating of more than 1 or 2 thousand reviews (depending on the situation - this may vary from city to city). 

5. Go to the exhibition center's website and look for the tab “Events” or something like “Event Schedule”; this section should have a list of events, ideally several pages for the entire year of 2025. Sometimes this section may be indicated in the footer of the website - be careful. If such a page is not available on the website - the exhibition center can be safely removed from the table and skipped.

6. If such a page exists - write down the name of the exhibition center, the link to the event schedule page, the address of the center, the city and state, the number of reviews on Google Maps (to determine the popularity of the exhibition center).

7. At this stage, send the table for approval.

8. After the list of exhibition centers is approved, proceed to the most interesting part - compiling the exhibitions in the tabular format described below.

The Google sheet of events should contain the following columns:

• Exhibition name

• Link to the event page

• Start date

• End date

• Exhibition center name

• City and State

• Number of reviews for the exhibition center on Google Maps

• Link to the event list page of the exhibition center

• Event address

• Short description (copy from the announcement)

• Category (Major manufacturers, Retail, Startups) or several in one cell

In theory, I expect that when parsing the top 50 cities, there will be between 50 to 75 exhibition centers, and in each exhibition center, there may be from 5 to 10 exhibitions for the year ahead that will meet our criteria. In total, we are interested in a list of 250 - 750 events.

Initially, I expect manual collection, but if you work with parsers and it comes at a reasonable price - I will also consider such an offer.
