I will be honest: if the antivirus is already "complaining," obfuscation alone does not always solve the problem. Often the reason lies in the libraries used, the behavior of the application, or signatures that look suspicious.
We can help not just to "run ProGuard/R8," but to approach it correctly:

– check dependencies and suspicious parts of the code
– configure obfuscation (R8/ProGuard) without breaking logic
