Senior Front-end JS Developer
DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Senior Front-end JS Developer to join our client’s team on freelance basis.
Briefly about the project:
The project is the world’s most widely used load testing service, with over 215,000 users from 190+ countries and over two million executed load tests - Google “web load test". For agile software development teams, project will work to simplify and automate load and performance testing. Integration with leading automated Continuous Integration tools, promises to simplify and help automate load and performance testing early in the release cycle. Client’s team is very experienced in developing applications for performance testing and monitoring.
Technical stack of the project:
- Frontend: Angular 4/5, Ember.js/React.js, Ember CLI, HighCharts
- Backend: Python, C, Go, Lua, Django, Django Rest Framework, Celery, Pandas, Numpy, Apache-Libcloud, Boto and a number of other Python, C and Go libraries
- Infrastructure/DevOps: AWS (EC2, ECS, ELB, CloudFront, S3, Route53, RDS PostgreSQL), Docker, Nginx, uWSGI, Apache Cassandra, Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack
Successful candidates should have:
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with al least one of JS frameworks such as EmberJS/ReactJS/Angular 2,4,5
- Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS)
- Familiarity with Python for our core backend API
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, AWS DynamoDB and InfluxDB as our primary databases
- Sweden and USA located distributed team requires at least Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English
