Тут есть проблема - солид не читает файлы более поздних версий, а оборудование часто не новое и версия программы там с лицензией того же года, что и сам станок. Таким образом сделав модель в версии 2021 ее невозможно будет открыть в версии 2020, не говоря уже о более ранних. Тут придется использовать PDM, а не все умеют с этим работать.
Поэтому нужно либо узнать какая версия у производителя, но это сильно ограничит выбор специалиста для моделирования, либо использовать не файлы солида напрямую, а форматы для станков, тот же STL или STEP. Это лучший вариант, но тогда будет необходимость поддерживать связь с тем, кто делал модель, потому как эти форматы обратно не конвертируются и вносить изменения в модель такого формата крайне проблематично - проще изменить исходный файл солида и создать новый STL, для этого и нужна связь с исполнителем после окончания работы над проектом.

STL точно не актувати а от STEP в програмі Inventor з 2016 версії редактується головне щоб попередня модель була виконана коректною. Без всяких малих артефактів на які страдають проектанти в соліді.
