This is a PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (not a recruitment post). We are building a multi-role service marketplace that will be implemented on Ply.io (mandatory) and deployed on Fly.io (mandatory).
What work must be completed:
design and implement a state-driven workflow marketplace in which the entire platform behavior is controlled by explicit state machines, including
(1) multi-role permission system for Platform/Service Provider/Client,
(2) service/task publishing, discovery, bidding and selection flow,
(3) workflow steps, statuses, and milestone management,
(4) escrow-based payment and milestone release strictly bound to state transitions,
(5) structured embedded dispute/arbitration flow that exists as a system structure (evidence capture, rule-based validation, resolution paths, escalation interface),
(6) continuous AI decision components as system components (not a simple chatbot or one-off API call) to support demand understanding/structuring, matching assistance, workflow routing decisions, and dispute classification.
the architecture must be modular and extensible so new service categories can be added without re-engineering the core.
Purpose of the project:
deliver a real, online, verifiable, and continuously extensible marketplace
platform where users can publish tasks/services,
providers bid,
work is executed through milestone workflows,
funds are protected via escrow,
disputes are handled by structured mechanisms,
enabling highly automated operation instead of manual customer-service-driven processes.
Target audience:
global service providers and clients across multiple everyday service categories who need transparent bidding, escrow-protected milestone delivery, and rule-structured dispute resolution within a platform workflow.
Evaluation standards:
we will evaluate results by whether
(a) the platform runs end-to-end on Ply.io and is deployable on Fly.io,
(b) all critical flows are truly state-driven with no manual/ad-hoc control,
(c) escrow and milestone payments are enforced by state transitions,
(d) dispute/arbitration is embedded as a workflow structure with evidence handling and clear resolution paths (not “human support”),
(e) AI participates as a continuous decision component for structuring/matching/routing/dispute classification,
(f) the system is modular, extensible, and stable enough to be used as the foundation for all future development.
