Project Title: Insightful Market Content Twitter Bot
Objective: Develop a Twitter bot that identifies, retweets, and learns from user preferences to improve the selection of insightful market-related content on Twitter.
Scope of Work:
Develop a Twitter bot using Python that will monitor and analyze tweets from a list of 'must follow' accounts and tweets containing specified keywords related to market content.
Implement functionality to identify relevant tweets based on:
a. User 'likes'.
b. Presence of links to charts in the tweet.
c. Keywords or terms listed in a Google Sheet.
Allow the bot to retweet insightful market-related content on-demand or at least hourly.
Integrate with a Google Sheet for managing:
a. A list of 'must follow' accounts that can be added to or removed from over time.
b. Keywords and terms to be used for tweet selection.
Implement a simple learning algorithm to improve content selection based on user interactions (e.g., 'likes').
Deliverables:
Python source code for the Twitter bot.
Documentation detailing setup, configuration, and usage instructions.
Test results demonstrating the functionality of the bot.
Timeline:
Week 1-2: Develop the core functionality of the Twitter bot (tweet monitoring, retweeting, and basic filtering).
Week 3: Integrate with Google Sheets for managing 'must follow' accounts and keyword lists.
Week 4: Implement the simple learning algorithm and test the bot's performance.
Week 5: Debug, refine, and finalize the bot. Prepare documentation.
Please note that this timeline is an estimation and can vary depending on factors such as the complexity of the learning algorithm and any potential changes in requirements.
Assumptions:
The client will provide the initial list of 'must follow' accounts and keywords via Google Sheets.
The Twitter bot will have access to a Twitter Developer account with the necessary permissions to perform the required actions (e.g., read tweets, post retweets, etc.).
The client is responsible for setting up and managing the Google Sheets used in this project.
