Project: Column Destruction Effect (Voxel / Cubic Disintegration)
Platform: UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) / Verse
Task Type: Gameplay + Visual Effect
🎯 Goal
Implement the mechanic:
when hit, the column starts to crack and gradually disintegrate, turning into cubes (voxels) that fall down until the object completely disappears.
⚙️ Mechanic Description
Event Trigger
When hit (shot / hit) on the object (column)
Destruction logic is triggered
Destruction Stages
Stage 1: crack effect appears (visual)
Stage 2: the bottom part starts to disintegrate
Stage 3: the object is gradually "eaten" from bottom to top
Main Effect
The column disintegrates into small cubes
Cubes:
fall down (gravity)
can disappear after a while or upon touching the ground
The effect should look like "voxel disintegration"
Final
The object completely disappears
All cubes are cleared (to avoid overloading the scene)
🎮 Technical Requirements
Use:
Verse (logic)
Niagara / VFX / Mesh spawning (visual)
Optimization:
Limit the number of cubes (LOD or limit)
Remove cubes after X seconds
Support:
Respawn of the column (optional)
Physics:
Cubes must fall down (simple physics or simulation)

In the spirit of Fortnite / stylized / voxel
Effect:
Destruction from bottom to top
Smooth but noticeable disintegration
