The layout and artistic design of a 300-page book in A4 format is a large publishing task. This requires not just design, but an architectural approach to the book, so that it looks like a cohesive, high-quality product from the first to the three-hundredth page.

I specialize in multi-page layout and prepress preparation (Startfire Studio). I have a professional printing education, experience working at the global prepress giant RR Donnelley, and I was the chief designer of the magazine "Kreativ-Art" for a long time.

My approach to your book:
1. Professional software (Adobe InDesign): The layout will be strictly done in InDesign (this is the only software that can handle such volume without failures). I will set up Master Pages and Paragraph/Character Styles. If in the future you want to change the font or margins throughout the book, it will take a few minutes, not weeks of manual work.
2. Thick spine trap (Gutter): A 300-page book will have a thick spine (up to 2.5 cm). I will mathematically calculate the inner margins so that the text and important parts of the photos do not "escape" into the binding crease, making the book comfortable to read.
3. Photo color correction: We will process all photos, enhance the contrast, and convert them to CMYK (Fogra39 profile) so that they look vibrant and bright on paper, not gray and blurry.

I propose to divide the budget into two transparent stages:
• Stage 1: Concept development (cover design in 3 variants + style of 3-4 internal spreads for grid approval): 3000 UAH.
• Stage 2: Layout and processing of the block: 60 UAH / page (for 300 pages — 18,000 UAH).
• Total estimate for the "turnkey" book with source files: 21,000 UAH.
• Deadline: 10–14 working days (I will submit the work in parts, for example, 50 pages at a time for your convenience).
