📌 Technical task for the layout of a cookbook
1. General information
Book title: Blackstone Griddle Cookbook for Beginners: 170+ Easy and Delicious Recipes with Seasonal Meal Plans for Breakfast, Meats, Seafood, Vegetables, Snacks & More
Estimated volume: 90 (85) pages (may be slightly less/more).
Materials:
170 recipes (2 recipes per page → ~85 pages).
30-day meal plan (will be provided later).
Chapters 9, 10, 11 (will be provided later).
Example of layout provided — everything needs to be done in one style. Example provided, just without leaves, to be done in high-tech style. As in the example.
Deadline: 4 days.
Budget: 5000 UAH.
2. Formats to be prepared
1. Paperback – Word + PDF (8.5 × 11, 300 DPI, with bleed).
2. Hardcover – Word + PDF (8.25 × 11, 300 DPI, with bleed).
3. Kindle eBook – Word with clickable table of contents.
3. Layout requirements
Margins: mirror margins.
Indent: 1 cm on all sides.
2 recipes per page (structure: title, ingredients, instructions, time, servings).
Photos: 300 DPI, with bleed.
Chapter titles: in simple uppercase letters (Breakfast, Завтраки).
All text of the book must be formatted in one unified style.
The layout must be neat, modern, and professional.
4. Table of Contents (TOC)
Must be automatic (through Heading 1, Heading 2).
When pages change, it should update automatically (Update TOC).
For the Kindle version: clickable links (active links) to chapters.
5. Expected result
Word + PDF for Paperback.
Word + PDF for Hardcover.
Word for Kindle (with clickable TOC).
All files made in one style, ready for publication on KDP.
