Honestly, I am disappointed with the contractor's attitude towards the assigned task. I immediately provided a link to Figma at the beginning, where we only have the design for the desktop version of the site. The contractor assured me that this was enough and that he would adapt this design to the mobile version with quality. Throughout the work, I checked the progress and pointed out obvious flaws (placement of text, logos, images, the fonts themselves) that were outlined in Figma. I received responses that the designer drew it incorrectly and other excuses. The mobile version was adapted poorly - images were misaligned, text was shifted, blocks were uneven, etc. Meanwhile, the contractor was pushing to close the project, saying everything was fine and that he had completed the work. He did complete it, but poorly. He suggested closing the project as it is and opening a new one to make corrections. Now I have to find someone who will fix this poorly done work.
I understand that everyone values their time and works from "here to there." But I, as a non-professional in the field of coding, website layout, etc., expected the work to be done professionally and with quality. Instead, I spent 3 days doing QA work and pointing out obvious corrections.
